Watch our awesome chef make his own BBQ sauce. The first part is the preparations done before going out where spices and liquids are premixed as much as possible.
Recipe:
- 2 cloves of garlic.
- 3 tablespoons white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soya
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
- ½ tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons dried grounded ginger
- 2 pinches of black pepper
- 3 pinches sea salt
- 6 tablespoons raw cane sugar
- 3 dl Ketchup
Mix the dry spices in a small sealable jar. (the sea salt and black pepper can be added before serving to taste)
Mince the garlic and mix with the liquid ingredients except the Ketchup in another small sealable jar.
When at the campsite mix the two jars with dry and liquid ingredients in a pot and add the ketchup. Boil it over the fire while stirring until it boils. If not mixed in with the dry ingredients add sea salt and black pepper to taste.
Let cool on the side and just quickly heat before serving.
